• "Ships same day" means the item is sitting right here with us, ready to go. It also usually means we have only a small number on hand. If you see this on something you want, don't leave it in your cart to think about it "just now".
• Everything else ships from our warehouse. It's still on its way to you, it just has a slightly longer trip before it reaches your door.

Our tip: in the days before Black Friday Week, browse the products you're after and note which ones say "Ships same day". Those are the ones to grab first.

Step 2: Get your payment details checkout-ready

Picture this. The deal is live, it's in your cart, you hit checkout, and then: "Forgot password?" Yoh. By the time the reset email arrives, someone else is unboxing your phone.

Avoid the heartbreak by sorting out your payment method before the big day.

• Pick your payment method now, whether that's your Visa, Mastercard or American Express card, or a buy now, pay later option.
• Log in to it ahead of time and make sure your password works.
• Let your browser or password manager save your login so it fills in automatically at checkout.
• Check that your card hasn't expired and that your bank app is on hand for any one-time PIN.

Every second you save at checkout is a second closer to owning that deal.

Step 3: Know your buy now, pay later limit

Buy now, pay later is a great way to spread the cost of a big Black Friday buy. At Technomobi you can check out with Happy Pay, PayJustNow, Payflex or Float. The catch is that each one only lets you spend up to your available credit, and there's nothing worse than finding that out at the final step.

So before Black Friday:

• Open the app or website for the service you plan to use and check your available spend.
• Match it to your wishlist. If your limit is lower than the deal you're eyeing, you'll know now, not when the timer is ticking.
• Save those logins too, so they autofill just like your card details.
• Settle any outstanding instalments if you can. Paying off what's due can free up more spend for the big day.

Step 4: Check the shipping dates (and pack some patience)

Step 5: Buying in bulk? Mind the 50-unit limit

Kitting out the office, stocking up for your business or sorting out school devices for the whole family? We love a big order.

Just note that the limit is 50 units per product in your cart. You can still buy a variety of products in one order, but no single product can go over 50.

Plan your order around this before Black Friday, so you're not adjusting quantities while the deal clock runs down.
